I’ve been reading these Magic Tree House books to my boys for years now. They are fabulous, interesting, and full of random facts for your young fictional history buffs. I’ve found these books to be one great way to help supplement my boys education in regards to social studies and science. The author of the Magic Tree House is a genius to make this information fun for your inquisitive young child.
I started reading these books to each of my sons when they were in pre-kindergarten. My youngest son is in kindergarten now, and we are on to the Merlin Missions soon. The main set is book 1-28, and then the Merlin Missions series continues the Magic Tree House book set. My second grader likes to revisit this series now, by reading them to himself. There is even a Magic Tree House website for your young child.
I hope you enjoy reading these books and instilling the bond of reading together with your children as much as I have with my kids.
